ACHIEVEMENT GAP
The achievement gap can happen to anyone at any time at any school. Kids dont get in schools because,somtimes their names dont get called and so a big peice of the achievement pie is missing. That all effects how smart they will end up. If the kids stay in a bad low income schools they might end up droping out of high school. That is bad for their education.Many people dont know what the achievement gap is.
Do you come from a lower income family or a higher income family?
-Many students from GVR come from a low income family,so that means that they are getting less education and wont be able to graduate from schools.
Do you think a high income school makes people smarter?
-yes is does because they have more materials and education
Do you think Dsst is a high income school?
-Yes because it is trying to close the achievement gap.

Either the kids are getting stupider every year or something is wrong with the education system?
-Many people say that it is the problem with the education system.

-Many students say NO they dont know, we told them that right now is about 2,500 teachers have lost there job . the studentes were surprize by that.
Do you know if scores are goin up or down in the United States?
-The score are going up because student are paying more attention on school than their social life.
Since 1971, has the US spent more or less money on education?
-The US is spending more money on education bacause they have to get the education they want.
